Ghost Town and Calico Railroad 60th Anniversary

January 12th - January 15th

January 12, 2012 marks the 60th Anniversary of the Ghost Town and Calico Railroad.  Walter Knott felt that his park would not be complete without a working railroad and since its debut it has been a source of pride for the park. Events include: a Golden Spike Ceremony (Jan. 12 at 11am), exhibit by the Del Oro Pacific Modular Railroad, historic photo display, tour of Ghost Town and Calico Railroad Roundhouse and private car the "Edna". Available only for this exclusive celebration: Dinner Train aboard the Durango. For $50 guests can enjoy a deilcious 3 course meal while they ride the rail back to the glory days of the railroad. Click here for more details.

Grad Nite 2012
